The Radio Frequency Users Association of New Zealand (RFUANZ) AGM and Conference was held on May the 9th and 10th in Wellington. This conference was our biggest yet and attracted a mixture of high quality presenters, attendees and exhibitors.  On day one, The Radio Frequency Users Association held its AGM, which included a report given by Chairman Mr David Thompson and the election of a new committee for the 2011/2012 year.

It is obvious that the RFUANZ  is filling a need for the radio communications industry in New Zealand. This conference attracted exhibitors and visitors from around New Zealand and Australia and provided them with an opportunity to meet, learn and network.

Attendees over the two days were made up of a mixture of network operators, utilities, local government bodies, mobile radio solution providers and general commercial radio users.

The trade show was the largest industry specific exhibiton seen in New Zealand for many years. The RFUANZ Commitee is extreamly pleased with the feedback it has received from this years AGM & Conference and is looking forward to what 2012 will bring.
